New Standards In Health & Safety

During this time the Acorn team will continue to be here to service your essential plumbing, and HVAC needs. We are committed to taking every precaution possible to ensure that we can continue to serve you while protecting your health, and the health of our technicians.

With this objective in mind, we have implemented several procedures based on CDC recommendations to respond to, and reduce, the threat of COVID-19, including:

  • Our office team is asking customers if they have been unwell and if so, we kindly ask to schedule the appointment at a later date.
  • Our technicians are used to giving customers handshakes, but we’ll have to just go with a thumbs up for now.
  • Our technicians will do their best to maintain a 6-foot distance where possible. Don’t worry, it’s not awkward, we’re used to it already.
  • Our technicians have had training on the proper use of PPE.
    Our technicians have gloves, masks, shoe covers and sanitizing wipes.
  • Our technicians will frequently clean their equipment.

Out of an abundance of caution, we’ve made changes to business processes to minimize unnecessary interactions, such as; Dispatching technicians remotely. Running No Contact Service Calls! Estimates available via Facetime or Zoom

No Contact

No Contact Service calls,  is a simple way to ensure we can take care of your plumbing, heating and cooling while remaining committed to ensuring the health and safety of you and our team!

To break it down;

  • We call you when we arrive to your home, You let us know the best point of entry and open the door for us.
  • You and your family make yourself comfortable in another area in the home.
  • Our tech will enter the home wearing a mask, gloves, booties.
  • We will call you or facetime you to talk through your options or go over any recommendations.
  • Our technician will complete the approved work, sanitize any equipment in your home.
  • He will call you when he is in his truck so you can secure you home and will also talk through any questions you may have.
  • We will email your invoice and you can pay online!

At the beginning of the recent heat wave our air con decided not to work. We reached out to the Acorn and explained the importance of keeping our animal patients cool . In spite of being swamped, Taylor came out and had things fixed in no time. Each member of the Acorn team was friendly, professional and timely, every step of the way. We had a lot of work done this year by Acorn including water pipe replacement, a new bathroom and ductless heating/cooling system installed in our home. Workers did well with the variety of work that was happening and adjusted as they went along if required. Shawn did a lot of leg work and help coordinated the job and was helpful in selecting the equipment that would best suit our home.

My heating furnace flamed out feb 2021 at the peak of cold wave. I contacted Acorn service group. The lady dispatcher was very friendly. Took my information and assured me inspite of being busy will send a technician as soon as they can. Technician came and diagnosed the issue and gave me estimate to replace parts. Their estimate is very reasonable. I know that because I enquired around to know what are costs of replacing cost. I believe their estimate is honest one.They promptly followed up next day replaced parts and got my heating furnace working.Great work by two young technicians Taylor and Kyle. Technicians were friendly and did great job. Overall I am happy with their work and will definitely recommend them.

We had our hot water heater fail and called first thing in the morning. To our delight Keltie and her team arrived onsite within 1/2 an hour and determined that our 11 year old tank couldn't be repaired and needed to be replaced. She made a call and had a quote sent within 5 minutes, a new tank delivered within an hour. Even though issues were encountered, her professionalism and quick response made it a no hassle installation. Couldn't be happier and more appreciative.

Acorn has installed a Daikin heat pump with ductless splits as well as replaced a Navien tankless water heater at my home. In each case their staff were responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The jobs were done with great care, impeccable workmanship with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend Acorn!

James came to our house and was able to fix our heating in no time at all. He was very nice, respectful and wore the proper PPE to make sure we felt safe. He was able to also help adjust our bath tub faucet pressure which was a life changer. He provided top notch service and was extremely efficient.

As a non-profit organization, we have limited funding and rely on companies to get the job done right the first time. When I discovered the services Acorn provided, I stuck with them and haven't looked back. Acorn Heating and Gas has been unbelievably professional, prompt and flexible when responding to our needs. Chad and Shawn worked with me to find the best and most affordable option to replace our aging boiler system. Jordan, Shane and Taylor have been ongoing members of the team who have responded to the sometimes chaotic needs of our aging heating and plumbing systems. Our buildings are offer Community Living Services such as Residential Services and Community Inclusion programs -- our folks depend on continuity of service with little to no change in their lives to maintain their stability. Thank you to the Acorn Service Group for being willing to step up and succeed where many others have not been able to do so.Update June 11, 2020: Acorn Service Group completed a full service on my AC unit and furnace. James was on time, professional and courteous. He ensured COVID safeguards and gave me his direct line if anything came up. Thank you!
